About RMAPI

Who We Are

RMAPI is a community-wide coalition working together to break the cycle of poverty by shifting power to enable upward mobility for all families.

RMAPI Is A Community

We are fighting poverty in a meaningful way. RMAPI has brought together a coalition of willing organizations and individuals from all sectors working together to change the systems that create and perpetuate poverty.

The RMAPI Steering Committee directs RMAPI’s anti-poverty work and ensures that all work adheres to our guiding principles.

Our guiding principles establish a framework for decision-making and collaboration. In our community, we must emphasize and center racial equity, address collective trauma, and revitalize neighborhoods. We plan on accomplishing this by:

Raising Wages

Promoting Equitable and Inclusive Decisions

Investing in Families

Decriminalizing Poverty

RMAPI Employment Working Group
